Did you know The first Post Office was at 5 Bridge Street which was the home of Owd Sutcliffe in about 1860. He would collect the mail on his way to Keighley. On his way back any mail for Silsdeners could be collected as he past on his way home. Uncollected mail had to be collected from No 5 Bridge Street.
