I'm sorry it's corny. I'm a bone fide decorator. I'll do an eight hour shift for 150 and the money will go to Niger, via Oxfam. Materials extra. I can help you with a job, like the ceilings on your staircase or whatever.

I've done half a days work for the flood victims in Pakistan. Niger is off the international map and will be forgotten but half the population in the same serious trouble as Pakistan so ...

I don't want a medal. I want 150.

Tom

I make a monthly gift aided donation to a charity that helps out in trouble spots all over the world so I'll pass on your offer Tom.

Even if I didn't make this donation, you realise your charging 18.75/hr for decorating?! (if you do full 8 hour days which no decorator I've ever employed has worked).

It's a strange world isn't it.

Somebody offers to work to raise money for a good cause and all certain forum MEMBERS can do is make derisive comments.

May I remind you this topic has been put into the announcement area (it's NOT a discussion area). 150 for a spare day job to go to a good cause should be applauded. You don't have to take up the offer. If you don't take up the offer perhaps you should put your hand in your pocket for the people that have been left with nothing.

Any more comments off topic will be deleted.
