I found a dead black and white cat that had just been hit on Elliot street this afternoon (about 1.30pm) by the junction to Prince street.

It had been hit by a car and had died pretty quickly. It had no collar so I have no idea who it belongs to so I put it in a bag and have put it in our bin (to stop the kids seeing it when they come out of school).

If you need to get in touch (to confirm it's your cat) then you can call on Silsden 656707.

If possible take it to kingsway vets and they can scan for a microchip.

Apologies for anyone trying to call - I took the cat to Kingsway vets pretty much straight away after I put the message on. Sorry for any confusion.

It was my brother's cat, they had a call from the Vet to tell them the sad news as the cat was chipped. Thank you for your kindness in taking the cat to the Vet.
