So what is happening that needs Skipton road to be closed from the 30th Jan to 3rd Feb? Asked the Town Clerk and she can't find anything on the websites? Is it a phantom works dept????

My son has recently moved into a house just up from there. Must have been something he ate.

I may be wrong! but this looks to me as if the buses will have to turn right out of Elliott Street to get to Keighley? A practise which was stopped because it was deemed to be dangerous.

So what route will they take up Elliot->Dradishaw_>Skipton Road->Dradishaw->Elliot Street?

They can't go round Bell square unless they all go up Briggate.Mind you having seen one come down the one way street the wrong way nothing would surprise me...

buses are not going up Elliot, dradishaw or skipton road, they are sticking to main road so some people might have a long walk

Drove up this morning, no road works there, hole filled in, so guess they have completed work.
No doubt the boy racers will be pleased, even the workmen( the men doing the nursing home wall) have commented on the speed of some of the road users.

They really do need to slow down and not forget the tragic death of Robert Hollings who was just walking along the pavement and was struck by a speeding car sad :(

Definitely a hole, and the guys were there digging on Friday. A square of tarmac between the nursing home and the old folks bungalows, LHS coming up Skipton Rd.
