Most of it is coming up from a manhole cover outside the Springbank nursing home.
I don't know what is under there, maybe telephone cables ?

Some water is also coming out of the wall in the same area.

The first roadside drain downstream is totally silted up, so it continues down Howden road.

As this water has been flowing since the heavy rain at Christmas time I have been in touch with Y.W.A. and they say no one has reported this problem. They say they will send someone out this evening to have a look..

The first roadside drain en-route is also silted up solid and I have reported that to Bradford council, but if they take as long to look at drains as they do the faulty street lights, then it could be some time. I reported the three street lights not working before christmas.

Just had a call back from Y.W.A. to say that this was reported some time ago, and there assessment is this is water coming from the ground. If I am concerned about the water on the road I should contact Brad Met.

Yes. Drains should not be blocked. However, if Bradford don't know about the blocked drains how can we expect them to sort them out?
