Early this morning I had walked along Howden Lane and turned down Brunthwaite Bridge Rd heading towards the canal. About half way down the lane there were a couple of large top stones in the middle of the lane, I lifted them up and placed them back on the wall. The wall on the right appears to be missing around 12ft of top stones it looks as though someone has stolen them overnight. I do not know which farmer owns the fields/wall, perhaps someone would let him/her know. There were no sheep in the field, the wall is quite high.
