The case for Bradford to be included on a HS3 route may be desirable but not many people believe it will happen from reading the comments on this news article.

HS3 is not going to be here until 2030!
It would be a lot more use to us all now; if they re-opened the 8 mile between Skipton and Colne giving a direct route between Leeds and Manchecter, most of the track bed is still there, a feasibility study has already been done, which says it is possible.

They wont use old track, nothing to be gained by contractors. No it will have to be New costing millions..

I think Grandad was referring to the track-bed, not the track.
