These are situated, on the Bowls Club in the Park, by the door to the St James Church Hall, at the Football club on Keighley Rd, and on the wall of the Gloucester Ave Community Hall on Windsor Ave.

The latest defibrillator has been installed in the Park and is now operational.

I always worry when I see them attached to the wall outside pubs.
It makes me think the ale must be bloomin' expensive.

I realise you are probable trying to make a joke!
However how many of the public would know what to do if one of their loved ones collapsed with a cardiac arrest?
If your answer is NO, then it's time you found out.

It would appear there is a great deal of "It won't happen to me" attitude going on out there!
It might not, BUT it is better to get trained before it does.

It is a pity the Keighley News got the fact that Lawrence Walton, is the C.P.A.D. coordinator not the C.P.R. coordinator which they put.

I have been asked, " do you have to be 18 to undertake C.P.R. training?"
The answer is No, we will train people of any age.
Even if they can't manage the chest compression's themselves, once they know how; they can tell others how to do it.

Silsden AFC have now taken delivery of a second Defribulator.

Being a responsible community club we felt we should take advantage of the British Heart Foundations offer to all sports clubs of half price machines.

The new defribulator will be at the pitch side of every game we play, home and away under the care of our trained Physio.

Listener, that's good news.
I expect you already have people who can train your members in C.P.R.
Just in case you haven't, please complete the link on the first post at the top.
