Silsden Park is a much loved asset of our community. Opened in 1934 as the Playing Field, the project to create this public space was the work of the people of Silsden themselves, with the money to buy the field being raised by public subscription. Our Park Day 2018 is to celebrate this jewel, and several of the activities we are having reflect some of the most popular ways that the park is used. This year’s Park Day is also marking ‘Have a Field Day’, Fields in Trust’s national celebration of our parks and green spaces. We hope that many people will come along to just enjoy being in our lovely park, perhaps bringing a picnic. There is no charge because using our park is free! |

It's Silsden Park Day today. The official start time is 11am but before that Silsden Storm will be playing matches - from about 9.30am - so why not come down early to support them and also the duck race? |
