THIS IS IMPORTANT - please complete the survey (link below) to have your say on how many houses we need in Silsden. At the moment Silsden is allocated to be a building site for years to come with very few jobs and little infrastructure promised.

The Core Strategy forms an essential part of the Local Plan for Bradford. It sets out how many homes the District needs and where these should be provided. It also establishes strategic employment, transport and infrastructure priorities and policies to protect and enhance the natural and built environment. We use the Core Strategy policies to help determine planning applications.

The consultation will take place from Friday, 11th January 2019 and will last six weeks, closing at 5pm on Friday 22nd February 2019.

A number of public drop-in sessions have been arranged to provide further information about the partial review:

Monday 21 January - Saltaire, Victoria Hall, Victoria Road, Shipley, BD18 3JS 3.30pm to 7.30pm

Thursday 24 January - Keighley, Central Hall, Alice Street, Keighley, BD21 3JD 3.30pm to 7.30pm

Tuesday 29 January - Ilkley, Clarke Foley Centre, Cunliffe Road, Ilkley, LS29 9DZ 3.30pm to 7.30pm

Thursday 31 January - Bradford City Hall, Centenary Square, Bradford BD1 1HY 1pm to 5pm
