Aire Valley Floods 11/12 February 2002

The rain over the last few weeks has resulted in the fields being completely waterlogged. - (as any local dog walker will tell you).

Monday night saw the latest low pressure system and with it the resulting weather fronts bring more wind and rain to our part of Yorkshire The River Aire flooded again, but fortunately not doing any damage this time.

The pictures were taken on Tuesday, 12 February with the waters receding back to the river.

It is not easy to collect balls at the Golf Driving Range, just the tops of the target nets are showing.
